These terms apply when you use the Lean Life website, contact our advisors or receive services through Lean Life, which is operated by Leanlife Healthcare Private Limited. By using our services, you agree to them.
About Lean Life
Lean Life is a medical weight-loss platform operated by Leanlife Healthcare Private Limited (CIN U47720MH2026PTC476102). Our advisors answer general questions and book consultations. Consultations, diagnosis, prescriptions and treatment are provided by registered medical practitioners, who use their own independent clinical judgement.
Not for emergencies
Who can use our services
You must be at least 18 years old, able to enter a binding contract, and give accurate and complete information about yourself and your health. You are responsible for keeping your login details, if any, confidential.
Advisors
Lean Life advisors provide general information about our services, costs and booking. They do not diagnose, give medical advice or prescribe. Medical questions are referred to a doctor.
Consultations and treatment
- A prescription is issued only if the doctor decides it is clinically appropriate after assessing you. Booking a consultation does not guarantee a prescription.
- Results vary from person to person, and we do not guarantee any particular outcome.
- You agree to share your full medical history and current medicines, follow your doctor's advice and report side effects promptly.
- Online consultations follow the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020. The doctor may ask you to have tests or visit in person before prescribing.
Medicines
Prescribed medicines are supplied by licensed pharmacies. Medicines must be used only by the person they are prescribed for, and as directed.
Fees and payment
Fees for consultations, programmes and other services are shown before you pay and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Cancellations and refunds are covered by our cancellation and refund policy.
Information on this website
Content on this website is for general information and is reviewed by our doctors, but it is not a substitute for advice from a doctor who has assessed you.
Communications
By sharing your contact details, you agree that Lean Life may contact you by phone, SMS, WhatsApp and email about your enquiry and care, even if your number is registered on the National Do Not Call registry. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse our services, including by giving false information, impersonating someone else, interfering with the website, or copying our content without permission.
Intellectual property
The Lean Life name, logo, website design and content belong to Leanlife Healthcare Private Limited or its licensors and may not be used without written permission.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Leanlife Healthcare Private Limited is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the website or services. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law, including liability for negligence in the provision of medical services.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Mumbai have exclusive jurisdiction.
Grievances and contact
For complaints about our services, contact our Grievance Officer. We will acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within one month.
