GLP-1 medicines turn down your appetite. What you eat in those smaller meals decides whether you lose fat or muscle, and how well you feel. Here's how we approach it with everyday Indian food.

Start every meal with its protein: dal, paneer, curd, eggs, chicken or fish. It protects muscle while you lose weight.
Your appetite is lower, so eat slowly and stop when you're comfortably full. Overeating is what triggers nausea.
Vegetables, fruit and whole dals, with plenty of water through the day, help with constipation.
Walking every day and strength training two or three times a week help keep muscle.
Fried snacks, sweets and alcohol are the most likely to upset your stomach on treatment.
